Masco Youth Football is announcing open registration for Boxford, Topsfield and Middleton children who will be entering grades three through eight this coming fall. Registration is open online at www.mascoyouthfootball.com now through June 15. Registration fee is $200 per player plus a $12.50 processing fee.
Log onto the Web site for details on Equipment Fitting and Information Night, where you may also register in person. Practices are scheduled to start on August 15.
Plant sale
The Topsfield Farmers Market, with flowers, plants and vegetables, will open on July 7 at the Topsfield Fairgrounds, Route 1, Topsfield, and run each Saturday through Sept. 22, 7 a.m. to noon. For more information, call Jane Cook at 978-922-1648.
Summer reading party
A Summer Reading Kickoff Party will be held on Friday, June 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Topsfield Library, 1 South Common St., Topsfield. The theme this summer is "Catch the Beat!" Bring a picnic or enjoy a hot dog and lemonade provided by the Friends of the Topsfield Library.
There will be fun crafts, face painting, popsicles and entertainment by Ben Rudnick and Band.
Church yard/bake sale
The Ladies Charitable Society of the Second Congregational Church will hold a yard/bake sale on the front lawn of the church, Route 113 Washington St., in West Boxford Center on June 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
