TOPSFIELD | The Trinity Episcopal Church will be showing the Academy Award-winning film "An Inconvenient Truth" at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18. There will be a simple supper held before the movie, at 6 p.m.
The 2006 documentary, directed by Davis Guggenheim, chronicles former Vice President Al Gore's worldwide campaign to bring the issue of global warming to the forefront. The feature won an Oscar for Best Documentary at this year's Academy Awards.
Melissa Etheridge's original song for the movie, "I Need to Wake Up," also won an Oscar.
The film is rated PG, and runs 100 minutes.
