Line dancing classes on Tuesdays

Beginners' line dancing classes are offered by the Council on Aging every Tuesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Central Fire Station meal site. The classes are run by Jason McCollin of Brentwood, N.H. All are welcome. Cost is $2 per class. For more information, call Barbara Champigny at 978-372-1101.



Silver Screen Series

Silver Screen Series, every first Monday of the month. The total trip to the Lawrence Showcase Cinemas costs $4 for the van, admission, popcorn and soda. Sign-up is required. The van departs Town Hall at noon and returns at 3 p.m. Call 978-372-1101.



Veterans director at COA office

Michael Ingham, veterans services director, holds office hours in the Council on Aging office every third Tuesday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Ingham is available to assist veterans and their spouses with information on benefits and other veteran-related issues. Call 978-372-1101.



Drivers needed

Volunteer drivers are needed by the Groveland Council on Aging for seniors who travel around the Merrimack Valley for medical appointments or to do grocery shopping or errands. The COA, along with Northern Essex Elder Transport, is seeking volunteers for a few hours a month or more. NEET reimburses each driver 40.5 cents a mile for gas. Insurance is also covered by NEET. COA day trips

Wentworth By The Sea on Thursday, May 31, 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cost $5.

Frankie Avalon at Mohegan Sun on Monday, June 11. Cost $66.
